ICE

ICE 3.1
  • built-in Type-I LCD driver and can support 32COMx72SEG, 32COMx(72+8)SEG, 32COMx(72+16)SEG or 32COMx(72+24)SEG; the segment (SEG72 ~ SEG95) pins are shared with I/O ports 14, 15, and 17. So the max. display dots are 3072 dots (32x96).
  • Please refer to the body lists with Type-I LCD driver in the application notes AN025

ICE 5.32
  • built-in Type-III LCD driver and can support 32COMx128SEG, 48COMx112SEG, 64COMx96SEG or 80COMx80SEG; the segment (SEG23 ~ SEG0) pins are shared with I/O ports 14, 15, and 17. So the max. display dots are 6400 dots.
  • Please refer to the body lists with Type-III LCD driver in the application notes AN025

Notes: There are no ICE for Type-II LCD driver emulation, and Type-IV LCD driver can be emulated in the ICE6.1 by setting the LCD display as black/white mode in ICE6.1.

ICE 6.1
  • built-in Type-IV LCD driver and can support 32COMx128SEG, 48COMx112SEG, 64COMx96SEG or 80COMx80SEG; the segment (SEG23 ~ SEG0) pins are shared with I/O ports 14, 15, and 17. So the max. display dots are 6400 dots.
  • The main difference between ICE 5.32 and ICE6.1 is gray LCD display and LCD memory mapping. So the firmware developed for ICE5.32 can't be executed directly in ICE6.1 and the LCD memory map need to be modified.
